Mailing list members are people that have subscribed to a given mailing list to receive periodic email messages, including weekly newsletters. In case the mailing list client software that is used to manage the mailing list allows it, you can also include mailing list members manually, but in this case such emails may be accepted as unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Usually, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking a hyperlink in the email messages they get, or you, being the mailing list administrator, can manually delete them if they request this or if you reach the decision that some of the members should not be part of the mailing list anymore. Each member will view only their own address in the "To" field of the email messages they get, but not the email addresses of the remaining members of the mailing list.
Mailing List Members in Cloud Hosting
The fully featured Majordomo mailing list management software app that is included with our Linux cloud hosting packages will give you total command over the members of any mailing list that you set up through the Hepsia Control Panel. You will be able to add or remove mailing list members by sending an email message to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can achieve this from any location without even needing to sign into the Control Panel. If you add a member manually, they will receive a verification request that they need to accept in order to sign up for the list. As soon as they do that, they will get an email with the mailing list’s bylaws and features. You’ll also be able to see a full list of all your mailing list subscribers and to check who’s receiving your newsletters or any other type of periodic email correspondence.
Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you order a semi-dedicated server from our company and you set up electronic mailing lists via the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you will be able to manage all your subscribers without any effort. We provide one of the most popular mailing list management software apps called Majordomo. It will allow you to view all your subscribers, to authorize new or to remove existing ones by sending an email message to the mailing list’s administrator address, so you can manage everything without even having to log into your Control Panel. Needless to say, only you, being the mailing list administrator, will be able to accomplish this. New mailing list subscribers have to approve their membership, so the emails that you send will be authorized and you will not have to bother about email messages getting reported as spam. We’ve also got a selection of how-to articles where you can find more information about how to administer the mailing list itself.
